Harman Kardon redefines home entertainment with its new Blu-ray Disc player
May 21, 2009, UK – Recreating the cinematic experience at home is high on the agenda for any discerning film goer, even more so with the trend for staying in becoming the new going out. Harman Kardon’s new ultra sleek Blu-ray Disc/DVD player, the BDP 10, is ideal for home theatre buffs who want a stylish home entertainment system that offers quality high definition viewing.
Complete with Harman Kardon’s unique user interface, set up and control of the BDP 10 couldn’t be more straightforward. Prepare to dazzle family and friends with the system’s slideshow feature. By inserting a CD or USB, users can view their favourite JPEG photos at the same time as enjoying their MP3 music collection. Additionally, its BD-Live feature enables users to view an array of additional content, such as director’s cuts, ringtones and games.
The BDP 10 not only plays Blu-Ray discs, but it’s ideal for users with a vast collection of standard DVDs. The player elevates DVDs to 1080p (via an HDMI connection), which offers higher-quality playback than that of a standard DVD player.
“The Harman Kardon brand has a rich history of delivering the right combination of power, performance, flexibility and ease of use in the home. The BDP 10 Blu-ray Disc player offers great sound and crystal clear video playback and its sleek aesthetics will complement the latest home entertainment set up,” says Mark Hockey, Marketing Manager, Harman International.
The Harman Kardon BDP 10 will be available late May 2009 with an RRP of £600.
